Tsomgo Lake

Holy Lake of Sikkim, 1 km long, Tsomgo Lake is situated distance of 35 km away from Gangtok on the old trading route from India to China. This lake has religious significance for the people of Sikkim and an ancient Shiva temple is located on the lakeside.

In winters, the lake freezes and during summers there is a riot of colors with primula flowers and other alpine plantation blooming here. The scenic beauty and tranquility allures the tourists to enjoy the beauty of the place.
