Ranthambore National Park- situated in Sawai Madhopur.
It is one of the biggest national parks in Rajasthan, northern India.
It covers an area of 392 km, and is one of India’s Project Tiger reserves.
Ranthambore National Park is majorly known for large tiger population and is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the forest. Other major wild animals include leopard, nilgai, dhole, wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth bear and chital.
It is also home to wide variety of trees, plants, birds and reptiles. The Flora of the Park is represented by 539 species of flowering plants. Its deciduous forests were once a part of the magnificent jungles of Central India.
