Day 03 : Delhi – Mandawa (280 km – 6 hr)

New Day Drive to MANDAWA, founded in 18th century was once inhabited by Rich merchants.This town is known for large number of  Havelis and Forts of olden times.It is located at 190 k distance from jaipur. Haveli s are adored for Its beautiful colored paintings on its walls.Rooms of palaces are decorated with the paintings of Lord Krishna. The collection of frescoes, Murals and paintings make this place more attractive to visit.

The fort town of Mandawa is well connected with the other places in region through a good network of roads. Mandawa still restores the charm & aura of a Ancient era & coming here is like stepping into a different world.

Day 04 : Mandawa – Bikaner (160 km – 4 hr)

Today we go for excurtion of Mandawa fort,One of the Historic Places of the Rajasthan cities, it is one of the prominent sttractins for tourists. Mandawa fort was built in 18th century. It has been converted into Heritage Hotel lately.

Later we drive to the princely state of Bikaner, Founded in 15th century by Rao Bikaji in the year 1488 AD. He was a Rajput prince, descendent of the founder of neighbouring Jodhpur

Earlier it was known as jangladesh.It was ruled by Jat dynasty of Jats.. It lies in the north-western part of Rajasthan & has a barren beauty of the desert landscape with wide-spread sand dunes & thorny shrubs growing around. After the Reorganisation in 1960.Nikaner became part of India and largest desert City Of rajasthan.

Bikaner is Famous for its Camel Festival that takes place every year in the month of January. At this festival the “ships of the desert” are seen at their best.
Bikaner has produced many Generals and warriors and distinguished rulers like Raja Rai Singh and Raja Anup Singh. Bikaner has many magnificent buildings made of reddish pink sandstone that transcends the surrounding barren wilderness.

Day 05 : Bikaner – Jaisalmer (325km – 6hr)
Half Day Tour

Next day visit to major tourists attraction places of BIKANER, Junagarh fort and Lal Gadh Palace.

Later we drive to Jaisalmer, also known as Golden city. It was founded in the year 1156 by Bhatti Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal. The town is located on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, with  palaces and several ornate Jain temples around.It is situated in heart of Thar Desert. It is the administrative headquarters of Jaisalmer District.

Because of its ideal location it was an ancient trading centre. . The merchants of the 19th century built Havelis that are gracefully carved from golden-yellow sandstone.

Day 06 : Jaisalmer
Today we visit the old town of Jaisalmer & visit Jaisalmer Fort, one of the largest fort in the world and second largest fort of rajasthan. Built in the year 1156 by Rawal Jaisal.with 250 cliff feet tall,it has 99 bastions, 92 of which were built between 1633 and 1647. Even today, you will find that nearly one fourth of the old city’s population resides within the fort and wells within the fort still provide regular water supply. The main attractions inside the fort are: Raj Mahal (Royal palace), jain temples and the Laxminath temple.

The main havelis we will be visiting Patwon-ki-Haveli- built by the rich merchant Guman Chand Patwa & his sons, It is the most highly structured & magnificent of all the Jaisalmer Havelis & is virtually the showpiece of Jaisalmer’s legendary architectural wealth. Salam Singh-ki-Haveli: It was built by the scheming Prime Minister Salam Singh in 1815, Nathmalji-ki-Haveli & Haveli Shreenath.

Other  notable place to visit is Jain Temple of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer City is enriched with the Jain community.Libraries of Jaisalmer are full of rarest of the manuscripts & artefacts of Jain tradition.

Later we drive down 40 km away from Jaisalmer to Sam to take the Camel ride on the Sand Dunes of Sam while the sun is setting down.

Day 07 : Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (290 km – 7 hr)

Today we Drive to Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan.Located at the Edge of Thar Desert, it was the capital of Mewar State formerly. It is popularly known as Blue city & the Sun city.The city is surrounded by thick stone wall. It is becoming a hub for Education studies in india. The city is dominated by the arresting Mehrangarh Fort, stunning palaces, massive forts and beautiful temples. The heritage of jodhpur is full of folks dancers,handicrafts , music and fairs.

Mehrangarh Fort- one of the largest fort of india.Situated at 400 feet above the city.Founded in 15th century by Rathore Rulers. The foundation of the fort was laid on May 12, 1459. Within the fort , some magnificient palaces are built namely Moti mahal- the pearl palace,sheesha mahal- the hall of mirrors, Phool Mahal- the palace of flowers, Takhat Villas, and fabulous collection of trappings of Indian royalty including palanquins, daulat khana, armoury, paintings, Turban gallery.

It is one of the most impressive and formidable structure to be seen.

Next place to visit,  Jaswant Thada, Memorial of maharaja Jaswant Singh.

Day 08 : Jodhpur – Udaipur via Ranakpur (325 km – 7 hr)

Day 09 : Udaipur
Full Day Tour

Today we will visit , City Palace a palace complex of Udaipur,located on the banks of Lake pichola. It is the largest Palace complex in rajasthan, Built by Maharaja Udai Singh. It is the fusion of Mughal and rajasthani architectural styles.City palace comprises of 11 palaces.It has marvelous Courtyards,Pavilions,Terraces,Corridors and Hanging gardens.

Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of Maids of Honor) is beautiful garden built as popular relaxing spot, reserved for the royal ladies who came there for the stroll.It is was built in 18th century for 48 ladies in waiting sent to royal house as part of dowry.It is well laid garden with fountains located strategically, flowerbeds, lawns . marble elephants & Delightful lotus pools. Its a must visit for Tourist visiting Udaipur.

Nexr We visit, Jagdish Temple- one of the famous temples of Udaipur.Located near to City palace.It was built by Maharana jagat singh and it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.It is 3 Storeyed Temple with Beauiful architecture and wonderful carving on pillars, decorated ceilings with vast and huge halls.Then we will proceed for a romantic boat ride for Pichola Lake.

Day 10 Udaipur – Pushkar (200 kms/04 hour)

Today we will drive to Pushkar, Pushkar one of the holliest and oldest city of rajasthan.The city is famous for its fairs and festivals. The well known largest cattle fair is associated with this city only.It is one for the prominent destination for most of the Devotess.The city is situated at height of 150 metres with hills on 3 sides.It is the city of Lord Brahma (Creator of the universe) .The small town of pushkar has 300 temles and 52 ghats. Pushkar lake is famous for its holy dip specially in the month of Kartika (oct or nov.). The Brahma Temple Of pushkar , is the only temple in the world Dedicated to Lord Brahma..

The other Temples to visit here are Savitriji,Rangji,Warah & Apteshwar.

Day 11 Pushkar – Jaipur (160 kms/03 hours)

Day 12 : Jaipur

Today we go on an excursion to  impressive Amber Fort and Elephant Joy ride to the fort. Amber Fort is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur. It took over 100 years to build. All built in white marble and red sandstone looks stunning.

A visit to CITY PALACE, Situated in the Heart of Jaipur is City Palace.It is still a home to former MAHARAJA. City palace includes Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. It now houses a museum.

Further Visit to JANTAR MANTAR (Solar observatory), largest stone observatory in world. It has largest sun dial built inside it which provides accurate time. A must visit to HAWA MAHAL (also known as palace of winds). It is a 5 storeyed pyramid of pink sandstone with 953 windows that looks magnificent and incredible.

Day 13 : Jaipur – Agra Via Fatehpur Sikri (240 km – 05 hr)

Today we drive to Agra, en route we will visit Fatehpur Sikri (Ghost Capital), build during second half of the 16th century by Emperor AKBAR. Fatehpur sikri also known as the city of victory was the capital of Mughal Empire. City has its Aura owing to the uniform monument Architecture. Main Tourist attractions are Diwan-I-Am- the Hall Of Public Audience, The Jama Masjid- largest mosque in India, Buland Darwaza- among the biggest gateways in world.  We will also visit Emperor Akbar’s Residential complex, Mosque and Tomb of Salim Chisti.

Further we will Drive to  Agra, 3rd biggest city in UP. City is situated on the banks of holy river Yamuna. The city is 200 km from the Capital.The heritage of agra is linked with Mughals. Many other rulers also contributed to Agra s rich past.

The modern history of Agra makes the city to be one of the most prominent tourist destinations for her priceless monuments and heritage buildings. Agra is known for its specatular Architecture and one of which is TAJ MAHAL.

The Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and RedFort. all three are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 14 : Agra – Delhi (225 kms – 5 hr)

Today we visit TAJ MAHAL

TAJ MAHAL- the symbol of Eternal love, a monument of immeasurable beauty. It is built by mughal Emperor shahjahan in the memory his wife mumtaz.The Taj Mahal attracts millions of people every year around the world.It is entirely made up of white marble and took 22 years to construct.The grave of king shahjahan & mumtaz mahal lies under the tomb inside taj mahal only.River Yamuna flows behind the Taj mahal and adds to its glory.

Further we visit AGRA FORT, it stands next to 8th wonder of world.TAJ MAHAL. It consists of a wall built in red sandstone with several buildings inside.Part of agra fort is not accessible to Public and still use by Indian army.

We will also visit Sikandara, Akbar’s tomb
Later we drive back to Delhi. Arrive and check in at hotel.
