An ancient citadel, Bhadra was built in 1411 AD by Ahmed Shah and presently is named after Bhadra, an incarnation of Goddess Kali. Just at the front of the citadel is the Teen Darwaza or Triple Gateway, from where the sultans used to watch the processions from the palace to the Jama Masjid.
Nowadays this citadel is used for government offices and is not of much interest.
