Gwalior Fort

Gwalior Fort Pride of Madhya Pradesh, is the chief attraction of the Gwalior city.It is Built by Raja Man Singh Tomar.

The area covered is around 3sq. km. and the longest length is 2.4 km from north-east to south west. The walls of the fort are built of solid sandstone, which rise to a height of 35 feet.

From the fort walls one can get superb view of the town and the surrounding plains. Gwalior fort houses a number most stunning temples and palaces like Archaeological Museum, Man Singh Palace, Karan Palace, Shah Jahan Palace, Sas bahu Temple, Teli Ka Mandir etc.
