Dodabetta Peak

Dodabetta Peak stands at the height of  2,623 meters making it the highest point of the district.

It is located at a distance of about 10 km from the main town and offers an unbelievably beautiful view of the surrounding topography. One can witness charming scenery, the lofty hills of the Nilgiri range.

There is a telescope house that is run by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation in the Dodabetta Peak to enable the tourist to get a better view.
