Vidhana Soudha Granite Building
Vidhana Soudha – one of the most extravagant buildings of the city and the country as well. Built of granite in the neo-Dravidian style of architecture, Vidhana Soudha is a seat of both the Secretariat and the State Legislature of Karnataka. The cabinet room is known for its huge door made of sandalwood.
Visitors are allowed to Vidhana Soudha only after 5.30 pm and prior permission must be obtained to see the interior.
The Vidhana Soudha has four floors and 300 rooms. A sightseeing of Bangalore is incomplete without a visit to the Vidhana Soudha.
