Fambong

Situated 20 km from Gangtok, the Fambong La Wildlife Sanctuary is known for a varied  flora and fauna, including some rare varieties of orchids and rhododendron. Wonderful place to find species like Red panda, civet cat, bear cat and the massive Himalayan Black Bear. On an altitude of 7,000 ft. there is a wooden tower to have a beautiful view of the valley at Tinjure maintained by Forest Department.
