Safdarjung Tomb

The Safdarjang tomb – was built in memorial of governor of Awadh named Safdarjung and is located besides the of Safdarjang airport. This tomb was built by the Nawab of Avadh for his father Safdarjung.

The tomb has 2 graves located inside it, one that of Safdarjung’s and the other of his wife.

The structure is one of the finest examples of architecture of its time and a famous tourists place.
